A Seattle resident for nearly 18 years, Rhea was born and raised in Minnesota and studied Biology at the University of MN as well as the University of North Texas before landing in Seattle to attend the University of Washington’s Prosthetic and Orthotic Degree Program.
For many years, Rhea worked as a Prosthetic/Orthotic practitioner in Seattle area hospitals and clinics, but after the birth of her daughter she left the field to open up a children’s resale boutique in Seattle’s Laurelhurst neighborhood which she named Kookaburra Kids. The store quickly became one of Seattle’s top destination children’s resale shops, attracting savvy shoppers from as far away as Alaska and Montana. After 4 years of successfully running the business, Rhea sold the store to focus on her other passion, real estate.
Rhea’s career in Prosthetics/Orthotics and her small business experience have helped her hone the skills needed in a great broker: tuning in to understand the client, staying true to her word, and going above and beyond to exceed client expectations. As a real estate broker, Rhea is committed to keeping her clients informed, calm and happy. Rhea’s alignment with Realogics Sotheby’s International Realty helps her meet these goals through award-winning marketing, white-glove service and a network and property platform that spans the world.
When Rhea is not working, she likes to spend time with her husband, Mikhail, and daughter Lluvia and take full advantage of all the fun things Seattle has to offer, from live music and theater performances, to nature hikes and cross-country skiing in the mountains. She can also be spotted at the dog park with her two adorable Shichon dogs, Oscar and Niika.
