Escrow and Closing Costs

Closing is the point in time when the title of the property is transferred from the seller to the buyer. Regulations require an escrow company or real estate attorney to supervise the closing of all residential real estate transactions. Closing costs are fees associated with your home sale that are paid at the closing of a real estate transaction. Both buyer and seller have fees tied to the transaction and it is the escrow company’s responsibility to ensure that all are honored at close.
