Encore Preview Event at Fort Lawton Draws 200+ Guests on Seahawks Sunday
On Sunday September 27th, more than 200 registered guests joined members of the Fort Lawton Sales Team for a special preview of the sales center and model home in advance of the public sales debut scheduled for Saturday, October 10th. This encore was a follow up to a series of events that took place over the previous week, including an initial preview weekend and a private reception hosted by Rise Properties in recognition of their broader development team.

RSIR CEO, Dean Jones, Attends Reception & Dinner in Honor of Xi Jinping, President of the People’s Republic of China
On September 22nd, Dean Jones, President & CEO of Realogics Sotheby’s International Realty (RSIR) attended a reception and dinner in honor of his Excellency, Xi Jinping, President of the People’s Republic of China, which took stage at The Westin Hotel in downtown Seattle. Jones was a guest of the Washington State China Relations Council, where he is a committee member for both inbound investments and real estate.

Evergreen Dreaming: Californians Flock to Washington State
According to recent Census data, California sends more new residents to King County than any other state in the US, as noted in a recent Seattle Times article. The trend makes a lot of sense considering that the two states share a time zone, a love for the ocean and a propensity for employing high-tech workers, as recently highlighted by The Wall Street Journal and the Puget Sound Business Journal,which described that the average home costs nearly $600,000 less in Seattle compared to Silicon Valley. A delegation of RSIR brokers, including our very own Barry Bergner, recently visited the Bay Area to explore these trends firsthand.
